These kits played a key role in helping more than 30 shelter dogs and cats find loving homes, easing the transition for both pets and adopters. Beyond this single initiative, Autostar Subaru's ongoing involvement throughout the year has helped raise awareness about local animal sheltering and encouraged the community to support and adopt from the Summit County Animal Shelter. Each summer, this meaningful collaboration results in the delivery of cozy blankets, thoughtful care kits, and handwritten messages of hope. On 6/19/25, Autostar Subaru of Silverthorne generously visited the hospital to personally deliver these items, brightening the day of patients undergoing treatment. These simple yet powerful gestures are deeply appreciated—patients often share how much it means to feel seen and supported by their broader community. By engaging local Subaru retailers and community members, these deliveries not only uplift patients but also help advance LLS’s mission to improve the quality of life for patients and their families. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Silverthorne, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Autostar Subaru of Silverthorne is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Autostar Subaru of Silverthorne have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/13/2025, Autostar Subaru of Silverthorne donated 120 coats to FIRC, Summit Resource Center. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
